TODAY IS THE DAY TO TAKE ACTION AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER.
WHAT IS WARRIOR MARKETING?
This is the first module of our WARRIOR MARKETING series. During this series we are going to take you through our marketing system, step by step. And help you map our your own custom WARRIOR MARKETING plan for your brand.
Where going to first start with what WARRIOR Marketing is NOT:
- Spending thousands of dollars on ads to try and figure out who resonates with your product/service (SO freaking backwards)
- Creating short sighted marketing campaigns that are only fueled by ads where the campaign dries up as soon as the money does
- Look at me, buy NOW, blah, blah, noisy marketing
WARRIOR MARKETING is tactical, laser focused, results required, never give up CONTENT marketing.
It has four key elements:
- COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
It is for:
- The gritty (the get it done, never complain, do it with excellence folks)
- Those who understand the universal truth of sowing and reaping
- Those driven by PURPOSE, your brand is an extension of your life’s calling
- Those who want to build a brand for the LONG HAUL (no get rich quick yuppies!)
THE PAINFUL TRUTH
Some of the lessons we never forget in life can sometimes be because they were the most painful. This lesson we learned was painful on our time and bank account, so it’s one we definitely won’t ever forget. BUT it’s also one that taught us a freaking huge lesson!
We’ll never forget the time we did what the marketing gurus recommended, create a course and then drive traffic to it by paid ads. Sounds simple and obviously the right choice, right? Nope, not if you aren’t prepared to sink A LOT, meaning upwards of 5 figures a week, into ads with no guarantee of seeing any return. Then once the ad budget has been burned through at an alarming rate, you have to be prepared to readjust the ad strategy and start over without ever seeing any return on the first bundle of your hard-earned cash.
Now for some, this strategy works and they have the LARGE bankroll to keep backing the ad spend. But for most start-ups and even most small businesses this just IS NOT the best strategy AT ALL!!! And even if you’re a larger company blessed with an overflowing bankroll, this still isn’t the best marketing strategy. It can be fitting at certain times, to help give you a kickstart when you first launch or to boost a new product launch… BUT something that will ALWAYS outperform ads, in the long run, is when a brand consistently creates high quality content for their tribe. Whether it’s blog posts, podcasts, YouTube videos, social media posts, Live videos, etc.
Those are the areas where you can see compounding results for a long time. If done correctly.
We’re sure you’ve heard the story of how much money you could have been earning with compounding interest if you started investing a few hundred dollars consistently at the age of 18. We would all be millionaires by the time we’re 50… or something like that. Compared to the sorry chap who starts saving later in life or who just saves the money in a regular bank account. Who saves all his life and only ends up with a couple hundred thousand dollars.
Well, content marketing is the same way. If you get clarity (and stay lasered focused), then consistently create high quality contribution (content) for your tribe. Over time the contribution compounds and your content can turn into a POWER HOUSE money generating force.
Think about it, when you spend money on an ad to drive traffic to your product or service. Once the money is spent the traffic stops.
Whereas when you start to plant seeds through content marketing (blogs, videos, podcasts, etc.) they are always there, and the more seeds you plant (meaning the more content you put out) the greater the harvest.AND the BEST part is they continue to gain momentum (views/shares/impressions etc.) the older they get. PLUS, we haven’t even mentioned how much easier it is to sell to people who find you through a blog, YouTube, social media post, etc. compared to those who click on an ad.
Oh, and if you’re wondering how the story ended when we created the course and put thousands of dollars into ads, nothing. It was the painful goose egg, zero. Not even a single dollar return. But we aren’t bitter, heck no. That was the best money spent because it taught us such a valuable lesson, but a lesson we want to help you avoid.
FAILURE ISN’T FINAL. GET BACK UP AND KEEP GOING.
