WHY LIVE VIDEO?
The answer is easy, more views and more engagement. Right now, live videos gain more traction than prerecorded videos that are uploaded to social media. Viewers are able to interact with you right on the spot, they can answer your questions, make awesome random comments and it just make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Plus, it come across more authentic and natural than pre-recorded videos. Which is amazing for making connections and building that trust with your tribe.
IT’S LIKE
Have you ever had a conversation with a salesman where everything was totally scripted? It comes across fake and it makes you feel like they aren’t even listening to a word you’re saying. When you’re talking they’re just thinking about what the next line of the script. The same vibe comes across through videos that are over scripted… and what happens? Viewers stop watching.
The key is a happy balance between being prepared with what you want to deliver (you gotta know your stuff) and just being real and in the moment. That’s when the connection happens. And making mistakes can even help you, for reals. It shows you’re human, the key is how you recover.
I remember something my dad always used to say when I was a kid, it was something like “if you trip and fall, do it with style.” Meaning if you make a mistake, don’t get embarrassed and awkward, have some fun with it. Be able to laugh at yourself and make light of the situation.

It could be your desk at your office, a corner of your living room, in your garage… just make sure it’s a fitting spot for your videos and get it set up. Next download the PDF gear list and check out the gear, and get what you need. If your budget is tight we recommend spending money on lighting first. Good lighting makes ALL the difference. If there isn’t a budget for lighting, just make sure to set up your “studio” next to a large window where there is a lot of natural light.

YOU’RE AN EAGLE, believe it and start acting like it.
A farmer was out walking around his property and found a baby eagle. He picked up the eagle and thought it might be able to survive if he put it with his chickens. The tiny eagle did just fine, he adapted to life as a chicken.
He learned to eat like the chickens. Eating seeds and bugs off the ground. He walked like the chickens and moved his head like the chickens. Even though he grew to be much larger than the chickens he still acted just like one of them.
Then one day he saw a large shadow of something go across the ground of the chicken coop. He looked up and saw a large eagle soaring through the sky. The rooster saw this and quickly came over to the young eagle and said sharply, “Don’t even think about it. You’re a chicken and you’ll always be a chicken!”
You were meant to soar friend. Your life has great purpose. Don’t allow fear or what someone else says keep you living like a chicken when you were made to be an eagle.
